Tovaform Design Services is a purpose-driven design brand based in Ottawa, Ontario, established in 2024. Rooted in a philosophy inspired by the Hebrew word "tovah," meaning "good," Tovaform is committed to creating products that are not only functional in use and form but also ethically grounded and socially responsible.

A Message from the Designer
Hi, I’m Tobias—founder of Tovaform.
Tovaform was created from a simple but intentional idea: design should serve others. Whether it’s a home accessory, tool, or everyday object, I believe that great design isn’t about how something looks; it’s about how it functions, how it makes you feel, and who it benefits.
I’m a graduate of Carleton University’s Industrial Design program, with a minor in Business, and was proud to be named a finalist of the ACIDO Rocket competition, which recognizes emerging product design talent across Ontario. I founded Tovaform to combine my background in design and business with a deeper mission: to create products that add quiet value to everyday life and reflect a standard of care often missing in the Canadian market.
Tovaform is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and wherever possible, products are designed and made right here. Supporting Canadian manufacturing is more than a checkbox for me—it’s a long-term goal. I’m actively working toward building relationships with automated, local production partners that can help scale design affordably while employing Canada’s highly educated and skilled population. When you support Tovaform, you’re supporting that vision: thoughtful, local, value-driven design.
Right now, Tovaform’s focus is on everyday accessories, daily carry goods, tools, and personal items that are designed to be useful, durable, and quietly refined. But I’m always open to new projects and collaborations in other areas, from home goods to custom commissions and prototyping. If a design serves others well, it belongs here.
